Vietnam: The War That Changed America received three nominations today for the 47th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards. Here’s what it’s up against.
Earlier today, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the list of nominees for the 47th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards, set to take place on May 27 and 28 in New York City.
Apple received 3 nods in total, all of them for Vietnam: The War That Changed America, a six-part docuseries released early last year.
Narrated by Ethan Hawke, Vietnam: The War That Changed America showcases “the reunion of old friends, first-person accounts, and rarely seen footage paint an extraordinary and deeply profound picture of what it was like to live through one of history’s longest wars,” according to Apple.
On May 28, when the documentary categories are presented, Vietnam: The War That Changed America will compete in the following categories, up against the nominees listed below:
