These run on the small side unless you want them tight. They would also be more flattering on the booty if they had back pockets. The material is nice and lightweight. The pocket is actually deep enough to hold cell phone. They are very comfortable according to my daughter. I gave them to her as they were too small for me.

I actually love these shorts! I am more of an Apple shaped body and it is difficult to find shorts that stretch enough for my larger waist and don’t swallow my legs. These stretch easily at the waist and are a slimmer fit in the leg. Lightweight and coo and have pockets so they hit all the marks ! I’m really pleased with them! I will be buying another color!
I feel like I never know what size to order online, especially with items that, shall we say, are form-fitting. I ordered these shorts because I plan on getting up and around more (especially on my bike), and I ordered a size up from what I usually wear *just in case*. I probably could have – and should have – gone with the regular XL, because while not loose, going up was probably overkill. These fit well, look nice, and allow for a full range of motion. That being said, if you're looking for shorts that do a little more to, say, flatten the tummy, these probably aren't the ones you're looking for, although going up a size like I did probably exacerbated the problem.
