Balenciaga’s GOSSIP eyewear campaign for summer 2026 introduces a rimless sunglasses style built for speed, shine, and attitude. Shot by Alessio Bolzoni, the campaign strips everything back to essentials, letting Achol Kuir and Malin Rudnick carry the story in close-up portraits.
Wind moves through their hair while the backdrop stays pale and almost clinical. GOSSIP takes its cues from wraparound sports eyewear, reworked through Balenciaga’s own logo language.
The curved lenses wrap the face in one continuous line, narrow and aerodynamic, while a cut-out BB motif traces the sides in openwork metal or a sandblasted low-relief finish. It reads as both jewelry and hardware, depending on the angle.

Stylist Ally Macrae keeps the Balenciaga wardrobe just as pared down. Sculpted black tops with a leather-like sheen frame the face and push the glasses further into focus. Clear optical lenses lean cold and technical while the black sun styles go harder and more dramatic.
The construction itself is deceptively light. A super-light metal build gives GOSSIP its nearly invisible rims.
Balenciaga’s eyewear isn’t the only accessory making news. Katy Perry fronted the house’s sneaker campaign earlier this year.
