Nanoleaf’s Smart Multicolor Ceiling Light brings Matter compatibility and voice control.

Nanoleaf’s fixture packs 19 LEDs across three lighting modes, with a front-facing setting that projects 2600 lumens across rooms up to 150 square feet for tasks such as cooking or reading. A second mode directs light upward onto the ceiling to create ambient lighting for relaxing or watching films, while a third mode blends both directions for a combination of task and mood lighting within the same fixture.
That flexibility extends to colour output, with the ceiling light offering close to 16 million colour combinations alongside a CRI 95 rating that indicates strong colour accuracy under illumination.
Nanoleaf has paired that range with Matter compatibility, allowing the light to work across Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home, and SmartThings, a spread of ecosystem support that the Philips Skylight cannot match given its lack of smart hub integration.
Scheduling adds another layer of automation, letting the ceiling light shift its mode and colour output automatically at set times without requiring manual adjustment throughout the day.
Nanoleaf also sells a separate Sense+ switch that uses motion and daylight sensors to extend the ceiling light’s automation further, giving buyers an optional upgrade path beyond the standard app-based controls.
The ceiling light is designed to be wired directly into a home in place of an existing fixture, giving anyone replacing a single central light a straightforward swap over multiple smart lamps.
