Gracie Abrams is the new face of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu fragrance. And the campaign suits the singer-songwriter. It’s elegant and intimate, with an edge of danger running underneath.
As a Chanel ambassador, Abrams brings the scent’s free-spirited mood to the forefront. The campaign image sets her in a dimly lit frame, with the perfume held close to her face. Her dark hair is swept back in an image by Lachlan Bailey. A cream dress and strands of pearls add old-school glamour, and the amber-toned background makes the pink bottle glow.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Crush Absolu Fragrance Campaign

Chanel In-House Perfumer Creator Olivier Polge built Crush Absolu to capture attraction at full force. It opens sharp, with lychee and grapefruit, before settling into a floral heart of rose and jasmine. Patchouli, a signature of Coco Mademoiselle, grounds the composition. Meanwhile, ambery notes deepen the finish.
“It’s a scent that is full of character,” Polge says, noting that the ambery notes heighten its “sensual, powerful nature.” The result reads romantic without tipping into too sweet.
