Burberry just made summer official. The brand’s High Summer 2026 campaign stars British actress Simone Ashley, shot by photographer Ryan McGinley across the sun-soaked setting of a classic British lido.
The concept taps into something deeply nostalgic, celebrating the open-air pool culture that comes alive across Britain every summer. Ashley moves through the campaign with glamour and ease, wearing Burberry bikinis and coverups poolside, each look grounded in the collection’s signature palette of sand beige.

Models Alva Claire and Sacha Quenby round out the cast alongside a crew of synchronised swimmers and divers, making the whole thing feel more like a summer afternoon than a fashion shoot.

The Margate raffia tote, handwoven in Madagascar, shows up as the bag of the season. Wraparound sunglasses and a cream trench coat thrown over check shorts seal the poolside look.

Creative director Daniel Lee said it simply: “A lido holds a particular kind of nostalgia for the British. We wanted to bring to life a warm summer’s day spent in and around the water’s edge with friends.” Consider it done.
