Massimo Dutti’s new summer editorial proves that doing nothing can still look impossibly put-together. Titled “A Guide to Do Nothing in Summer with Lulu,” the story follows model Lulu Tenney through a wardrobe built for slow mornings and warm afternoons.
Marina Gallo styled the shoot, turning stillness into its own kind of fashion statement. The concept is simple: summer without the schedule. The coastal setting does a lot of the storytelling here. Blue water, whitewashed walls, and stone paths give each frame that unmistakable feeling of having escaped somewhere better.

Movement drives the Massimo Dutti clothes themselves. Lulu drifts through airy white dresses and draped black separates, with long skirts that catch the wind rather than fight it. One red dress cuts through the palette with real heat, while a red knit top echoes the same note in a smaller dose.

Textured knits and sheer layers add depth without adding fuss, and wide-leg trousers paired with simple sandals keep the whole story grounded. The accessories know when to stay quiet.

Pendant necklaces, woven bags, and cuff bracelets add polish without competing for attention, while a run of black-and-white frames brings a sharper, more graphic edge to the mix.
