Valentino Beauty’s new fragrance campaign, Vendetta, stars Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård in a story built on heat rather than sweetness. Shot by Inez & Vinoodh, the image stays close and low-lit, all deep red and dangerous proximity.
In the campaign shot, Johnson leans over Skarsgård in a scarlet dress, the two of them stretched across a plush red floor. It’s glossy, intimate, and pointedly not a soft-focus love story.
Valentino Vendetta Fragrance Campaign

The launch marks Valentino Beauty’s first new prestige fragrance franchise in six years, and the name is a nod to the Maison’s 1991 scent of the same title. This time, the story reframes passion as a decision: two people who choose instinct over anything safe, the world be damned.
The line splits into Vendetta Donna and Vendetta Uomo. Donna centers on a creamy Tuberose Osmobloom, its floral gourmand base cut with a juicy red orange nectar opening and rounded out by salt and sandalwood.

Uomo runs darker, built from Peruvian ginger and Italian citrus before sliding into a spicy Cinnamon Liquor Accord, patchouli, and woods with real bite.
Even the bottles carry the tension. A sharp V slices across each sculptural silhouette, and pleated black caps borrow directly from Valentino’s couture archive. One glows red. The other burns amber. Vendetta arrives in the United States in late August.
