AppleCare One warranty bundle just became an even better value for customers

While Apple’s latest AppleCare+ price increase for Mac and iPad is small in isolation, it makes AppleCare One an even better value. Apple increasing the price of Mac and iPad hardware also makes warranty coverage a stronger consideration.

AppleCare One prices are staying the same for now

New standalone AppleCare+ subscriptions for every current Mac and iPad are now 50 cents more per month or $5 more per year, while existing subscribers keep their previous pricing.

AppleCare One, meanwhile, remains unchanged at $19.99 per month for three devices.

Individual monthly coverage for a 13-inch MacBook Air is now $7.99, an 11-inch iPad Air is $6.99, and an iPhone 17 Pro with theft and loss coverage is $13.99. Together, those plans cost $28.97 per month. AppleCare One covers all three for $19.99, saving $8.98 monthly, or $107.76 over 12 months.

Apple discounts individual annual plans, so the fairer yearly comparison is $79.99 for the MacBook Air, $69.99 for the iPad Air, and $139.99 for the iPhone 17 Pro. That totals $289.97, versus $239.88 for 12 months of AppleCare One, offering a still-substantial $50.09 difference.

AppleCare One savings are even more dramatic on higher-end Macs and iPads.

Monthly AppleCare+ for a 16-inch MacBook Pro now costs $15.99, while coverage for a 13-inch iPad Pro costs $11.99. That is $27.98 combined, so AppleCare One saves $7.99 per month before the subscriber even fills the third device slot.

AppleCare One launched just one year ago

Apple announced AppleCare One on July 23, 2025, and launched it in the U.S. the following day. The base subscription covers up to three eligible Apple products, with additional devices costing $5.99 per month each.

The plan includes the core AppleCare+ benefits: unlimited accidental-damage repairs subject to service fees, battery service, 24/7 priority support, and Apple-certified repairs.

It also includes theft and loss protection for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, with up to three total claims per year across those devices.

Eligible products up to four years old can be added if they pass Apple’s condition check, instead of being limited to the usual AppleCare+ purchase window.

Devices can move in and out of the plan, and Apple automatically replaces coverage when a covered product is traded in directly to the company.

AppleCare One will not be cheapest for every lineup. For example, a MacBook Air and iPad Air alone cost $14.98 monthly as individual plans. But anyone covering three products, or simply a premium Mac and iPad, should run the numbers again.

With standalone coverage rising and AppleCare One holding steady for now, the bundle has become one of Apple’s more generous subscriptions.
