Apple TV has Slow Horses and Dark Matter returning soon, joining Ted Lasso

It’s shaping up to be a great time to subscribe to Apple TV.

Ted Lasso is now officially back for season 4, and two more hit series are right on its heels.

Ted Lasso’s fourth season kicked off today, and new episodes will air every Wednesday through October 7. The new season brings back many of the beloved characters from before, but adds a new roster for the Lady Greyhounds team too.

Joining Lasso, in the coming weeks Apple TV has new seasons premiering for two other hits:

Slow Horses season 6 arrives Wednesday, September 16, with new episodes dropping weekly through October 21.

Gary Oldman is back, along with the whole Slough House crew. Here’s the plot summary: ”Season six sees the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge.”

And even sooner, sci-fi hit Dark Matter will return for a new season.

Dark Matter

Dark Matter season 2 premieres Friday, August 28, with new episodes weekly through October 30.

Here’s the plot summary for the show:

Hailed as one of the best sci-fi novels and celebrating the 10th anniversary of its release this year, “Dark Matter” is a story about the road not taken. In season one, the series followed Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton), a physicist, professor and family man who — one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago — is abducted into an alternate version of his life. Wonder quickly turns to nightmare when he tries to return to his reality amid the mind-bending landscape of lives he could have lived. Season two picks up with the Dessens as they settle into a quiet life in a world that finally seems safe until the unimaginable forces them to run once again. As Jason’s obsession with the Box deepens, Daniela’s (Jennifer Connelly) growing paranoia pushes her to the brink, threatening to tear their fragile stability apart. Elsewhere, Amanda (Alice Braga) and Ryan (Jimmi Simpson) join forces in a desperate attempt to find their way home. With Blair (Amanda Brugel) determined to stop him, Leighton (Dayo Okeniyi) relentlessly chases his grand vision of creating a perfect world.

Other notable Apple TV premieres coming soon include Ryan Reynolds film Mayday, Matthew McConaughey comedy series Brothers, and police thriller Last Seen.
