The cast makes the case for itself: Misty Copeland, Sutton Foster, Judith Light, Audra McDonald, Lea Michele, and Kara Young, each bringing a different register of star power, from cool control to pure drama. Photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin shot the bold portraits across New York City.

Meanwhile, stylist Carlos Nazario pushed the Michael Kors wardrobe toward high-impact city chic. The clothes do the real talking. A belted wool coat carries weight without losing ease. Feather and plume detailing turns the body into a moving silhouette.

Sculpted jackets, wide-leg trousers, sleek pumps, oversized outerwear, and structured handbags anchor the drama in something wearable. Every look reads like it was built for a spotlight, a sidewalk, or a stage, sometimes all three at once.
Accessories carry their own weight in the story. Statement sunglasses, long gloves, sparkling earrings, and architectural bags punctuate the monochrome styling with character.
There’s another Michael Kors moment worth catching this year. Suki Waterhouse fronted the brand’s spring 2026 campaign.
