Teyana Taylor stars in Alaïa’s summer-fall 2026 campaign, called The Essence of a Silhouette. It turns the collection’s clean lines into a study in movement. The multidisciplinary artist brings a dancer’s control and sensuality to a story built around the female form. It’s a natural fit for a house that has always chosen its faces with intention.
Alaïa Summer/Fall 2026 Campaign

That history matters here. Alaïa has long drawn magnetic performers into its orbit, from Grace Jones to Tina Turner, and Taylor carries that lineage forward with a distinctly modern charge. Photographed by David Sims in crisp black and white, she twists, balances, and holds each pose that lets every curve of the clothes speak for itself.

The Alaïa pieces are sculpted, never stiff, as second-skin knit dresses cling to the body. A metallic-embellished mini catches the light. A jersey piece with anatomical cut-outs carves in at the waist, while sleek monochrome looks, including a body-skimming white gown and a fitted black knit dress, keep the focus locked on shape.

Creative direction and styling by Aleksandra Woroniecka sharpen that pared-back mood. Wet-look hair and strong, held poses add tension without pulling attention from the clothes. Taylor calls the collection “bold” and “feminine.” On her, those words hold up.
