Emma Chamberlain fronts J.Crew’s Tiny Rollneck campaign. She is putting a Gen Z spin on the brand’s most recognizable knit. The new shape is cropped and closer to the body than the original, pulling J.Crew’s prep codes into younger territory.
J. Crew Tiny Rollneck Campaign

Emma wears it across several moods. There is a sweet pastel pink knit paired with a dark mini skirt, then a creamy white version styled with a pleated gray skirt, argyle socks, loafers, slim glasses, and a headband. It’s schoolgirl prep with a sharper edge.

Sportier styling rounds out the J. Crew images with a pink-and-navy striped half-zip Rollneck that lands over tiny white shorts and scrunched-down socks, while a bright blue take gets dressed up with loose tan trousers, a printed scarf knotted at the waist, oversized sunglasses, and a golden retriever along for the ride.

Ian Markell shot and directed the campaign, pulling references from early-2000s fashion media and video game character-select screens, a retro-futuristic mood that suits Emma’s whole aesthetic. Jared Ellner styled the images alongside J.Crew Creative Director Olympia Gayot. It mixes chic prep with sporty details, vibrant color, and a bit of weirdness.
