Mariacarla Boscono Takes Center Stage in Dolce & Gabbana DNA

Dolce & Gabbana’s new DNA campaign puts Mariacarla Boscono at the center of a black-and-white love letter to Rome, shot by Karim Sadli. The images lean hard into Italian identity and old-world glamour. It’s the kind of fashion drama the house has built its name on.

Pulling into nostalgia, the setting does a lot of the storytelling. Stone walls, lace sheets, checkered tablecloths, quiet bedrooms, and narrow streets stand out. Mariacarla drifts through each frame with total ease, polished in one shot, undone in the next.

The clothes stay true to Dolce & Gabbana’s codes. Black lace skims the body in fitted dresses, sheer panels catching flashes of skin. A tailored jacket meets briefs, garters and stockings for a lingerie moment with real edge. A slip dress, trimmed in delicate lace with thin straps, keeps things quieter without losing impact.

Emmanuelle Alt styled the looks, working in dramatic hosiery, pointed heels, statement earrings, and a plush dark coat for evening. The palette holds to the brand’s Black Sicily collection throughout, so texture carries the weight instead of color.
