Verdict
The Reolink OMVI 3i WiFi is one of the most unusual outdoor security cameras I’ve tested. Its enormous triple-lens design combines a 180-degree panoramic camera with a separate 4K pan-and-tilt unit, giving it the ability to keep watch over a huge area while simultaneously following whatever catches its attention.
It is an absolute monster, and you will need a sturdy wall or ceiling to support its 1.1kg frame.
The app can be a touch overwhelming but once everything is set up, the OMVI 3i is seriously capable security camera. SyncTrack is excellent, image quality is superb day and night, and the combination of the panoramic and PTZ cameras gives you coverage that would normally require multiple devices.
It isn’t cheap, but it delivers a lot of technology for the money. Add Reolink’s subscription-free local storage and genuinely useful AI features, and the OMVI 3i WiFi is an easy recommendation for anyone who needs to keep an eye on a large outdoor space.
