This is high quality equipment for the home user. I have no regrets. I weighed the bar and all the plates and all were exactly as advertised. The grip for the bar is also excellent. If you are in the market for a easy set of weights and a bar, then this is a good value.

Um if you're a girl who doesn't already lift that bar alone is going to be struggle. Consider getting a lighter weighted bar. That said, my husband is super happy with it and I'm sure I'll work up to it. Very well made and sturdy.

I’ve been airing it out for days outside. It’s stuck onto the plates. And the plates have a slimy film… don’t buy. Not to mention the clips are so tight I couldn’t even get it on all the way

Wish I would have bought the more expensive ones. These stink horribly when you unwrap them. They are also super wide plates that are more difficult to move around. I wouldn't recommend for folks with small hands.
