How does a wireless light switch work?
The receiver is wired between power and light. The switch sends an RF signal and can be placed anywhere. Add more remotes or receivers as needed.
Can I use multiple sets? What if the signal is weak?
Yes. Each kit uses dynamic codes to prevent interference. Re-pairing is easy—only cancel once. Metal barriers can shorten signal range, so adjust placement or replace the battery if needed.
What if there’s no neutral wire in the box?
The receiver needs a neutral wire. If not in the switch box, install it behind a non-metal light fixture. A neutral may be hidden at the back—check carefully.
We also offer a no neutral wire model.
What battery does the switch use and how long does it last?
The switch uses a CR2032 battery. Battery life depends on usage but typically lasts several months to over a year.
Can this switch pair with other Suraielec wireless switches? What frequency does it use? Does it require WiFi?
It operates at 433.92 MHz and does not require or work with WiFi. It can pair with other Suraielec wireless switches using the same frequency.
