I bought the XTERRA Fitness mat as it was recommended with the purchase of the XTERRA treadmill. I compared quite a few other mats and the XTERRA mat was less money than comparable mats (or at least give or take a couple dollars). It fits the TRX4500 treadmill perfectly – which is generally bigger than most treadmill models.

What I especially like about this mat is that the cushion is thick and sturdy to support the treadmill and the best feature I like even more so is the texture of the surface. It's fairly smooth but just enough in the design that it is not slippery. The importance is, you can use the mat for other purposes such as situps, etc without leaving indentures on your back and the surface makes it very easy to clean.

I bought a few different mats when I was putting my gym together as I have other workout machines and benches and a place for stretching, situps, pushups, etc. I liked the XTERRA mat so well that I bought 4 more mats for my gym to replace the other mats that were rated better (and more expensive).

Overall, if you are buying this mat for a treadmill or other reasons – don't pass it up!

I bought this to go under my spare refrigerator in my sunroom. It's perfect! Very sturdy! Perfect fit. There was an initial strong smell for the first few days. I thunk that to be expected. The smell is long gone and I'm very pleased with this purchase

I bought this to place under a 150 pound elliptical machine to protect our new wood floor. It is a very good product and glad to have made this purchase – highly recommend.

If you’re putting your equipment on carpet, don’t be cheap and – BUY A MAT. The length is great and it’s pretty decent for the price. Had I not purchased it, I would have treadmill oil all over the carpet. Not super thick, yet well worth the money considering what it would have inconvenience/cost to get the oil out of the rug.

Prefer mats to put under and stationary light weight bike out walking pad!

This map is thicker and better quality than the one that we bought from the fitness store at nearly double the price. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Wanted a mat to put under peloton bike but didn’t want to pay an exorbitant amount for one. I really liked the one I have for a treadmill but it was out of stock. I had ordered another and, when it came, the material felt cheap, stiff, slippery and completely unlike my other mat. So I returned it. My bike was being delivered and assembled next day so I needed something fast! I found this one. It was reasonably priced, right size, and fast delivery. It unrolled easily and felt padded like my other mat. I am very happy with it and was surprised by how much larger it is than I expected. Well worth the $$!
