
Apple TV has added another award to Pluribus’ growing list of wins, with the series taking home a Gotham Television Award tonight. Here are the details.
Pluribus wins again
Earlier tonight, the the Gotham Film & Media Institute announced the winners for this year’s Gotham Television Awards.
Apple TV had six nominations in total, including:
- Pluribus: Breakthrough Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Performance in a Drama Series (Rhea Seehorn), Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series (Karolina Wydra)
- Margo’s Got Money Troubles: Outstanding Lead Performance in a Comedy Series (Elle Fanning), Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Comedy Series (Michelle Pfeiffer)
- Mr. Scorsese: Breakthrough Nonfiction Series
With the ceremony now over, Apple took home one trophy, with Pluribus winning Breakthrough Drama Series.
As for the other nominations:
- Breakthrough Nonfiction Series went to ‘Katrina: Come Hell and High Water’
- Outstanding Lead Performance in a Comedy Series went to Tim Robinson (‘The Chair Company‘)
- Outstanding Lead Performance in a Drama Series went to Chase Infiniti (‘The Testaments‘)
- Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Comedy Series went to Laurie Metcalf (‘Big Mistakes’)
- Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series went to Babou Ceesay (‘Alien: Earth‘)
With today’s award, Pluribus has now reached 11 total wins, including a Golden Globe, a Critics Choice Award, an AFI Award, and two Saturn Awards, among others.
