This Pluto board is a great tool to have where space is limited. It is small in size but it is a powerful and versatile machine, making it a great addition to any home gym. It gives me a lot more options than weights alone were giving me and the resistance feels smooth and even, like I’m using a fancy gym machine. The weight goes from 4lbs, all the way up to 99lbs. At peak resistance I can’t even budge the bar so I have lots of room for personal growth in strength.
The bench offers 3 resistance modes: a standard mode where resistance pulling and retracting is the same, an eccentric mode where resistance is greater when the rope is retracting and finally an isokinetic mode where resistance increases with speed. Using these modes and the included attachments, I have a lot of options for using it. I can get a comprehensive workout using the included d-handle pulls, ankle strap and straight bar. Other bars or attachments can also be used with the system if you have them and they are quick and easy to swap between. I can target a wide variety of muscle groups using this machine like legs, arms, shoulders, back and more. I have a wide range of resistance available to me and don’t think I will ever hit the maximum. I actually feel like this gives me many more options than using free weights because I’m not restricted to fixed increments or limited choice.
The device's robust build ensures that it can withstand rigorous use over time, making it a long-lasting investment. The build is solid and pretty heavy to carry but the handle on one side and wheels on the other side to make it easy to slide out and put away if you want to store it under a sofa or something. I’m very happy with the workout possibilities that this has opened up to me.
